9月3日、彼女が21日ぶりにカメラの前に姿を現した。

とても元気そうだ。

多くのクマたちがサーモンを追いかけて支流へ移動する季節になっても、彼女のファミリーはブルックスリバーに残ってきた。

が、今年のサーモンの状況は彼女にいつもとは違う行動を取らせたらしい。

彼女が支流の存在を知っていたのか、野生のカンで動いたのかはわからないが、いずれにしても彼女はとても健康でクマとしての時間を謳歌しているように見える。

On September 3, she reappeared on camera after three weeks away.

She looked remarkably well.

Even when the season arrived for many bears to follow the salmon into the tributaries, her family had always remained at Brooks River.

This year, however, the salmon situation seems to have led her to do something different.

I do not know whether she already knew of the tributaries or simply followed her wild instincts. Either way, she appears to be in excellent health, living fully and freely as a bear.
