She was the first bear this season to catch a salmon — on the river cam.

That morning, the two met at the edge of the lake.
They walked along the riverbank together, swam, gathered others, and played on the sand spit.
They walked the path as if talking, then turned at the fork and disappeared together.
All the while, they truly seemed to be enjoying themselves.
They have been best friends since they were cubs.
Bears know friendship.
この朝、二人は湖の端で出会って、一緒に河岸を歩き、泳ぎ、仲間を加えて砂嘴でふざけ合った。おしゃべりするように小道を歩き、やがて三叉路を曲がって一緒に消えていった。その間中、彼女たちは本当に楽しそうだった。
彼女たちは子グマの時からの親友。クマは友情を知っている。

Sometimes I wonder if bears understand the presence of the camera.”

While the mothers fish at the falls,
she does not approach the area.
